Crudo Wins Gold at New York International Olive Oil Competition

Congratulations to Crudo!

On April 15th, Gaetano Schiralli from Crudo was given a Gold Award at the New York International Olive Oil Competition (NYIOOC) for the one of the Best Olive Oils in 2015, and this during Italian olive oil's annus horribilis. In one of the most prestigious olive oil competitions in the world, Crudo Extra Virgin Olive Oil was evaluated by an international jury of experts and chosen from nearly 700 olive oils from 25 countries. 

In producing Crudo, Gaetano's craftsmanship seems as if it is from the future, being a ray of light for Puglia, where the devastation is taking a huge toll on productive olive trees. But When the olives are lovingly harvested and pressed on site using new and innovative techniques, the result is a top flight extra virgin olive oil, rich in polyphenols with a very assertive flavor. A must have in your pantry!
