Gluten-Free Organic Red Lentil Sedanini
Produced By: Rustichella d'Abruzzo
in Abruzzo, Italy
In response to changing culinary needs across the globe, pasta pioneer Rustichella d'Abruzzo has created a one-of-a-kind pasta made exclusively with organic, gluten-free, GMO-free red lentil flour. The result is subtle and delicious red lentil flavor in an artisan pasta that cooks to the perfect al dente bite. Rustichella d'Abruzzo Organic Red Lentil Sedanini is produced in a completely separate gluten-free facility, away from any conventional flour contact.
Pasta connoisseurs will be amazed by the texture and nuanced flavor of this revolutionary red lentil pasta. Forward-thinking chefs will be inspired to get creative. The possibilities are endless: try folding it with melted butter and salmon caviar, and top with a dollop of crème fraîche. Or make Pasta e Ceci using Arrabbiata Sauce for a little more kick than usual. The delicate red lentil flavor cries out for use in Indian dishes—make a deconstructed dal with Organic Red Lentil Sedanini, finely chopped tomato and onions, Indian spices, curry leaves, and coconut milk.
Legume pasta is more delicate than traditional durum wheat pasta. For a perfect al dente bite, please be sure to cook it in abundant salted boiling water and carefully follow the directions on the package.
Cooking Time: 5-7 minutes.
