Pasticceria Filippi

Filippi, a state-of-the-art, family-run pasticceria located in the town of Zanè in the Veneto region, is one of the top producers of panettoni in Italy.

Maria and Giuliano Filippi began to bake panettoni in 1972, utilizing the finest quality ingredients no matter where in the world they were from. Today, their sons Andrea and Lorenzo continue the tradition with the same devotion, values, and enthusiasm. In crafting their products, they aim to guard their memories of childhood, full of aromas, colors, and curiosity, while acknowledging the taste traditions tied to their land.

Filippi's philosophy is that excellent products—prepared with respect, care, and passion—require an enormous amount of time. Devoting the right amount of attention to their products is the secret to Filippi's success: time to develop ideas, reinterpreting their family tradition and enclosing childhood memories; time to search for excellent ingredients—citrus peeled by hand and slowly candied, free-range eggs, selected flours, fresh butter, milk delivered daily, Bourbon vanilla beans, and Italian honey; time to allow dough made from the same natural yeast base they have been using for over 40 years to slowly rise, then be baked to perfection; and of course, time to taste, share, and savor their delicacies until the last crumb.

For the Filippi family, doing business also means improving the world. As a certified B Corporation, they voluntarily put every aspect of their business through the most rigorous scrutiny to ensure they meet the highest social and environmental standards. Their carefully selected ingredients are obtained from producers who care for and respect their animals, land, and workers. All their panettoni are packed using Forest Stewardship Council certified papers and ribbons obtained from recycled materials.
