2018 Harvest Notes
This year, Antonella Titone’s masterful blend consists mainly of Nocellara del Belice (at least 40%), followed by Biancolilla, and with the addition of a small quantity of very green, late-ripening Cerasuola. Antonella describes her oil: “The nose is complex and vegetal, with notes of green tomato leaf, artichoke, and balm. The flavor is very assertive: slightly bitter notes in perfect balance with its spiciness, plus bold vegetal flavors of which tomato and artichoke are the most persistent.”
