Hailing from Sardinia, the next gastronomic frontier, Santidu Extra Virgin Olive Oil is made from olives harvested from groves that have been producing for centuries. The blend's flavors are balanced between bitter and spicy with a long, clean finish. The oil has a lovely floral nose, accented with herbaceous and nutty notes, and a pleasant robust finish.

This harmonious oil makes an excellent complement to grilled pork chops, sliced prosciutto, steak carpaccio, and tuna crudo.

Santidu (Sardinian for “feelings”) is made in the Marmilla region of Sardegna (Sardinia) in the heart of the Mediterranean. This area offers the perfect environment for the olive tree: verdant rolling hills with southern exposure to sun and circulation of fresh air from constant sea breezes.

The olives are harvested adhering to the strict rules of the local custom: local olive varietals (Semidana and Bosana) are picked entirely by hand, and processed within the day. This traditional process is called spibidai in the local dialect.
