2021 Harvest Notes
Made by the Bertarelli family in Maremma on Tuscany’s southern coast, Castello ColleMassari I.G.P. is one of the finest expressions of extra virgin olive oil, and in particular Tuscan olive oil. Our founder Rolando is lucky to collaborate with ColleMassari in creating a 2021 blend specially for Manicaretti: Frantoio, Leccino, and Olivastra Seggianese. The oil is elegant and round, with the fabulous aroma of green almond, followed by grassy and herbaceous notes. This brilliant olive oil is Tuscan’s history and future in a bottle—the organic Olivastra Seggianese olives come from six incredible trees that are over 1,000 years old!
