Taralli al Peperoncino - With Hot Pepper
Produced By: Danieli
in Puglia, Italy
Every time a customer tastes their first bite of Danieli Taralli, we hear: "These are the BEST taralli I've ever had!" Danieli crafts their pride and joy, "il tarallo," in the heart of Puglia in the town of Bitonto. Every day Danieli strictly handmakes taralli according to traditional recipes that have been handed down in secret and scrupulously guarded.
Danieli's Taralli al Peperoncino have a wonderful savory flavor, rich with high-quality extra virgin olive oil, and spicy kick from ground hot pepper. They have an outstanding flaky texture, similar to that of a laminated pastry. Once you've had one, it is hard to resist eating the entire bag of these crunchy, ring-shaped snacks.
Taralli are an essential component of an aperitivo in southern Italy. Enjoy with salumi, olives, and other antipasti along with a glass of wine!
