Arrabbiata means "angry" in Italian, and this sauce, made with crushed hot red chile peppers, garlic and onion, is indeed very spicy. Best with hearty, long cut pasta such as Bucatini, Chitarra, or Fettuccine.

These smaller jars of sauce contain the perfect amount of sauce needed to dress a package of 500 gr (1.1 lb) Rustichella d'Abruzzo pasta as the Italians do: Italians like to eat pasta with sauce, not sauce with pasta! Thanks to the rough surface of the pasta, the sauce will adhere beautifully and will be enough to serve 4 people.
