Award Celebration at Top Ranking Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition

The results are just in from the Los Angeles Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition and we are very proud to announce the following awards: Gold Medal Award for Titone D.O.P. Valli Trapanesi and Silver Medal Awards for Olio Verde, Tondo D.O.P. and Frescobaldi Laudemio.

The 2016 Northern Hemisphere Competition received 571 extra virgin olive oil entries from 369 producers around the world. There were a total of 6 Best of Show Awards, 26 Best of Class Awards, 125 Gold Medal Awards, 168 Silver Medal Awards, and 73 Bronze Medal Awards. Since 2000, the Los Angeles International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition is one of the top ranked competitions of its kind in the United States and fifth worldwide. Their mission is to bring together the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in awarding medals to the best oils from around the globe. We are very excited to represent these top quality producers in the United States!
